15 seconds of fame

After church last Sunday, we were eating cake and drinking coffee and a guy I know came up and said, "Hey, I was traveling a few weeks ago, and while at the airport in Baltimore -- or maybe Philadelphia -- I saw you! On CNN!"
I said, "They ran the piece? And I was in it? I watched the CNN website for months and it never turned up!"
He couldn't hear a word of what I said, because this was in a noisy airport and he wasn't all that close to the TV. But this being Airport CNN, he did see it about six times while waiting.
It's still not on the website, though. Or at least it didn't turn up when I searched.
But apparently I did get to be the counterpoint voice of reason. Either that, or they weren't able to find anyone outraged, and I was a representative sample. Who knows? But they did run the piece, and I was even in it.
