I am sure that 99% of the matryoshka measuring cups were given out as a sincere gift. I mean, they're super cute! It's just that if you actualy think through the process of using them, you realize that they will sit adorably on a windowsill forever.

My measuring cups live in a drawer. There are annoyances to this, too, like trying to dig out a 1/4 cup measure and digging out three 1/3 cup meassures in a row, but at least putting them away just involves dropping them in a drawer.
