Dubious Milestones

So the girls are playing in their room. I hear Kiera say "ow!" and Molly say, "Sorry, Kiera."

And then Kiera trots in to find me, looking deeply offended, and announces, "Molly kick me!"

(I gave her a kiss and told Molly to be more careful. It had been an accidental kick.)

Awww isn't that sweet, though, that Molly said she was sorry. I love it when little kids spontaneously do what you try and try to get them to do. :)

I remember wanting to shout with joy when I lost a game of Monopoly Jr. to Dylan, and he put his arm around me and said "it's okay, mom, maybe you'll win next time. You played a good game, though."

I also think it's funny when the little ones get that sort of righteous indignation (Molly KICK me!) -- it's hard to not crack up when they say something like that.
