Pajama Day
Jan. 26th, 2006 12:55 amTomorrow is Pajama Day at Molly's preschool. They sent a note home that mentioned some kids are very reluctant to wear their PJs to school; they suggest, in that case, that you let them wear their clothes, but put their PJs in their backpack so that they can change when they get to school and see everyone else in PJs.
Molly is not going to have this problem. Molly is going to want to wear her PJs next week, too.
She did, however, refuse to wear her Dora PJs to bed because she wants to keep them pristine for preschool tomorrow. So they're folded and waiting, and she wore her footie PJs to bed.
When I picked Molly up today from preschool, I found out from her teacher that Molly was bragging that I was an "acclaimed author." Except she was apparently pronouncing it "claimed." (It says "acclaimed author" on one of my book covers -- I remember reading that to Molly at some point, so that's where she got the line.) She said Molly was really proud of me.
