springbok1 went looking for parve ice cream at a kosher grocery store in St. Louis Park, and brought me a pint of Mocha Mix Frozen Dessert. It wasn't half bad. Ed and I had some with sliced up peaches tonight. It tastes like cheap real ice cream -- like Blue Bunny or something. Which is a heck of a lot better than the Oatscream, which tastes like someone tried to make a DQ Blizzard out of stale, slightly moldy, frozen hay. One major difference: the Mocha Mix uses actual sugar in their product. Anyway, for birthday-cake-topping ice cream, I think we have a winner. And I would happily eat this on pie.
