I ordered the Samantha doll on Sunday night and paid for regular (not expedited, which would've been an extra $10) shipping. It got here this afternoon. Admittedly, American Girl is based in Middleton so it didn't have far to come, but still, sheesh. The only other time I've gotten something this fast it was shoes from Zappos.com.

Maybe you need the expedited service if you're ordering Decemer 22nd, or something like that.

I had a similar experience ordering some Japanese Sign Language books. But it was aided by crossing the international date line.
