I know some of you folks are in Washington State, or have lived there in the past.
Are you going to sign the petition to put this initiative on the ballot? Or would you if you were still living there? (Work-safe.)

Date: 2007-02-06 09:27 pm (UTC)You know, at some point queer folk are going to have to do some extreme things to get straight people in America to give up their exclusive privileges. This is just the tip of the fricking iceberg. Black people had to have a Malcolm X in order to make MLK Jr and his ideas seem reasonable. GLBT people have been all about being discreet and good and kind and patient for a long time. Eventually some queer kid is going to step out and blow the lid off all that and gain a following.
"By any means necessary" indeed.
