I got a freelancing gig writing text messages about cool places to take your kids in Minneapolis. It's currently free, though at some point they're going to have to start charging for something. (They may not ever charge for this channel. If they do, it'll be something like $2/month. And it's currently in the pilot phase, so they're not going to be charging for anything for a while.) Channels are also available in other cities for other things that people might be interested in. For example, you could go to the Boston section and sign up for the "Yankees Suck" channel -- you know you want to.
