Minneapolis folks: Harry Potter parties?

There's a list of events up at the Pioneer Press website. Anyone going to one? Which? I've read some concerned speculation that some evil person will get the book, flip to the end, and shout out spoilers to the people waiting in line. I'd been gladly anticipating going to one of the Harry Potter parties, but now I'm wondering if I should order from Amazon and stay home. Or go to a party but leave before midnight. Thoughts from other fans?

I know several people (including some from TC Spec Fic Writers) that are planning to go to the party at Amazon bookstore.

I work at Borders but will be out of town, so will miss their big shindig. Borders offers a 40% discount to those pre-ordering but they stop taking pre-orders tomorrow.

You can reserve without putting any money down. YOu have one day to pick it up (next Saturday) and then it goes out to the general public. Without pre-order, the book is available at 30%.

Of course, if you belong to Costco, you can probably get it there for even cheaper at all times.

As far as I know, the copies will not be available for your hands until midnight exactly. So you have to stay until midnight if you go to a party.
