No spoilers
Jul. 21st, 2007 07:58 pmI went to the release party at a local bookstore last night with
springbok1, and saw
hilarymoonmurph's daughter Cassie dressed up as Dobby. I was resolved not to read at all when I got home, because I knew I'd wind up reading until 4 a.m. if I did. In retrospect, I should have gone ahead and kicked back with the book -- I don't know if the Butterbeer at the party was caffeinated or what, but I didn't fall asleep until around 3 a.m.
I spent the day reading and finished the book a little before dinner time. So now I can read LJ and message boards and the newspaper again without fear of spoilers, which is a relief. Also, I have to be really careful not to let anything slip, since Ed wants to finish reading HBP before he sits down with Deathly Hallows.
I'll probably post some commentary on it in another day or two, behind an LJ-cut.
