naomikritzer1. Rolled coins down the stairs to see how far they could get them to bounce.
2. Set up the living room for a performance, complete with a plate of snacks that were allegedly for me but which they ate.
3. Mimed "Cinderella" while having me try to guess what story they were acting out.
4. Dumped out Lincoln Logs. Picked up Lincoln Logs, under duress.
5. Assembled Legos.
6. Created a schedule of Princess activities (I think) (it involved curtseying).
7. Attempted to solve the Four Fours challenge up to 36. (That one was just Molly.)
8. Played with a neighbor kid.
9. Picked the last few raspberries and mulberries.
10. Argued with each other. I can't even remember what about.
11. Nagged me to "order" my meals from the "Kiera restaurant," which means that Kiera would get me my food and then present me with a bill.
12. Made "Happy Anniversary" cards for me and Ed.
Weirdly, I do not recall either of them asking for computer time to play on Webkinz, though they did borrow the computers to write short (very short) stories. Kiera got tired of hunt-and-peck and wound up dictating to Molly, who typed for her.
They were thoroughly wholesome today. So I baked them a pie. (Well, actually I baked the pie because we have a kitchen full of fruit flies and had a bag of peaches. You shouldn't refrigerate peaches; it makes them mealy. But you can't leave fruit out with fruit flies around. Pie seemed like a reasonable solution.)
We grocery shopped yesterday and I had Molly bring in her robot. She guessed it hadn't come from the grocery store, though. And she hasn't taken it out of the package yet; she played with other Legos today.

Date: 2009-07-29 02:59 am (UTC)My two are into Sims right now. Otherwise it's camp and picking up sticks in the yard (chore) and working on their fort and going for a long walk. Oh, and sneaky work together on their dad's birthday card.
