You are not required to eat your prey if you don't want to. But in the future, I would highly appreciate it if you would at least finish them off before depositing them on the carpet of my office.
Dead mice, I can deal with. Live mice that might regain the strength to skitter off while I'm trying to remove them from the house -- not so much.
