I backtracked, re-made the change I'd un-done yesterday, and I feel like I'm making forward progress again even though I had a net loss of words.

I'm tired. I think I will go to bed and poke this some more tomorrow.

Story progress is more important than net words. You're working on the sequel to Freedom's Apprentice, right?

Just finished Freedom's Apprentice yesterday (pre-reader's copy) and I enjoyed it. Though I gnashed my teeth a bit at the end in a "What do you mean this is the last page???" sort of way. :)

Yes, this is the sequel to Freedom's Apprentice. It's due to my publisher in August. The drawback of getting a pre-reader's copy is that it's an even longer wait for the next one. ;-)
