I'm thinking about trying to update this more often. For a long time, I posted about my kids' interesting new tricks (walking! talking! jumping on the bed! mouthing off!) on LEGACY, which is a VAX-Notes based bulletin board for Carleton alumni. (VAX Notes. Remember VAX Notes? Yes! It's still out there!) Trouble is, it's gotten less and less interactive as fewer and fewer people use it.
However, in order to actually use my LiveJournal semi-regularly, given my tendency towards extreme long-windedness, there's something I would need to know: how to insert an LJ cut. I currently use one of the free LJ clients to post (I used the web interface but I lost a bunch of postings that way). Do I insert something in HTML? Standard HTML angle brackets, or square brackets, or what?
Does anyone still check my LiveJournal?

I love to read your writing

Cheers!
