Summer Days

naomikritzerGet up. Change Kiera's diaper; apply sunblock to both girls, and to myself; get dressed. Have breakfast. Gather up swimsuits and towels. Drive to Highland Pool for one-hour swimming lesson. (Kiera gets to participate in a toddler class that requires a parent in the water as well.)
Shower; dry off. Re-apply sunblock to all of us. Dress. Drive home for lunch; throw towels in dryer, hang suits.
Put suits back on, with swim coverups on top. Get towels, assemble going-to-the-park bag and inflatables. Meet friends at Hiawatha Park and let kids play in the wading pool until Kiera's naptime.
Lather, rinse, repeat. Oh, but after you lather and rinse, don't forget to re-apply the sunblock.
