I am finishing up the beta draft of Freedom's Sisters.

Is anyone interested in being a beta reader / commentor?

I am particularly eager to find at least one or two people who have not read the first two books in the trilogy, to tell me where they get totally lost so that I can add brief explanations as necessary. However, those who have read the first two books are also welcome to volunteer.

Mr. SquigSoup would like to volunteer. He hasn't read the first two, but is a fan of fantasy novels. His email address is corvis@gmail.com.

I haven't yet gotten around to reading the first two books in that trilogy, but I loved Fires of the Faithful and Turning the Storm, so I'd love to beta for you. Email at cstaggs at bgnet.bgsu.edu

Hate to admit it, Naomi, but I haven't read the first two in this series, either. Although I loved the earlier ones by you that I've read. Willing to read.

I would be willing to read, if you still need people. I have read the first one, but have not gotten to the second one yet. (I own it, just haven't managed to fit it in quite yet!) I am sure I will feel it necessary to read the second one before the third, just so I don't spoil anything for myself, so you shouldn't pick me unless you want someone who has already read the others :)

So I feel a little awkward volunteering since you don't know me, but I would absolutely love to be a beta reader. I'm a friend of Abi's who is interested in becoming a writer, and I've enjoyed all your books. My email is janelle_lohr(at)yahoo(dot)com.

me too!

Sad to say, I haven't read the first two. I'd be interested in seeing if I could figure out what is going on without the requisite background.

In that case, you're welcome and I'll see if I can find a copy of the first two. Good Luck!

You don't know me, either, except from bf.com a looooong time ago (I'm the one who volunteered to copy-edit Parenting Research Review!), but if you are still looking for beta readers I would love to be one! I have read Freedom's Gate but not (yet!) Freedom's Apprentice, if that makes a difference.

I'd be interested, but I should probably not be a first choice for you as I have to start packing this month.

How quickly do you need it read? I've barely read anything since morning sickness kicked in but OH, how I'd love to celebrate the coming of the second trimester with fiction in hand....

I have read the first two, though.

Unpacking, in my world, consists of throwing the books onto shelves and promising myself that I'll alphabetize later. :P

More seriously: I won't push past this comment, but I loved the first two books and would probably trade my left kidney to see the beta 'script for the third. :)

I would love to.

I've read the first two books in the series, though, so you probably have enough of those...

I'd love to, and I haven't yet gotten to read the first two (sitting in line actually), so if you'd like you can contact via leftwithashes@hotmail.com ^_^

Sorry I missed out on the opportunity to read your draft. I just discovered you via Instapundit and as an avid Sci-Fi/Fantasy reader am anxious to sample your work. By day I am a lawyer spending much of my time editing the work of other lawyers -- so you can understand why I would leap at the chance to comment on writing that doesn't involve 17 subsections of an obscure statute known only by an acronym! Do you know if there is another place on the web where I can go to volunteer to read and comment on similar works?

Happy to be a reader!
